raised in the pine forests of northern california, vavrek is a self-taught independent musician,  prolific web designer, and lead vocalist for t r y ^ d. 

vavrek also releases solo material and welcomes new collaborations.

an avid photographer,  ema brings her gentle spirit and voice to our collaboration.

first joining us with background vocals for the rising and dance of the urbanite from public domain,  ema has risen herself to become a main feature of the upcoming album.

Scott has helped with his support, technical skill and now musical creativity.  

Scott's work can be heard featured on the upcoming album 'Listen', as he contributed both sounds and vocals to the track 'Beauty'.

rjmarshall,  traditionally trained in piano and clarinet,  often found constructing elaborate musical works whilst living in japan,  provided the bulk of classical and synth foundations of public domain.

a brilliant composer,  one of t r y ^ d's three founding members,  rjmarshall is a generous and talented soul who wins the hearts of all who listen.

Arna joined t r y ^ d with the release of I See, a remix of her original work.

Appearing vocally throughout Public Domain, Arna's voice is vividly striking, deep, and full of raw energy.

After completing t r y ^ d's first album, Arna shifted musical directions towards drumming, appearing in an all female Seattle-based Misfits cover band known as The Angel Fucks.

John Holowach started with music after he received Rob Dougan's Furious Angels and listened to both discs through and through. He remixed all the tracks on it and put together a remix album of it.

Dougan has said that he likes all the remixes, and is flattered.

John debuted his first solo album, A Basement Of Broken Dreams online in January of 2005, and it hit hard.

His work has been featured all over the internet in podcasts, vlogs, music features, and elsewhere. He has also been used for a story on Current.TV and in several documentary and narrative films (both feature and short).

Lead vocalist of the 'Beauty' single,  Karen is a sophomore at Scripps College concentrating in Media Studies and Politics.

Karen creates comics, art, music, and a variety of other stuff.

She also writes on her blog,  Little Green River.

Kevin comes to t r y ^ d from San Francisco's Subatomicglue.

Kevin spends most of his waking moments mountain biking, building custom synthesizers for his albums, smelling flowers, killing deep sea monsters, and infiltrating enemy governments.

During the day, Kevin battles the dark side, and in a previous life, Kevin spent too much of his time getting motion sickness in cartoonland and virtual reality.

the music of his boy elroy began in the mind of tim holt in 1995.

intrigued by the underground electronic sounds of artists such as moby, tim started sequencing on an old korg keyboard. convinced he and a friend were going to start a techno band, they christened themselves "his boy elroy" and proceeded to experiment with crazy sounds and wacky beats.

his friend left to pursue a culinary career, but in 1998, his boy elroy pressed on.

with an nsoul records release, the track "chrystalis" hit the electronic music scene to rave reviews. a highly regarded 6-song ep followed.

leaving behind the creative sanctuary of college to get a "real job" tim was forced to put his boy elroy on hold for a couple of years.
